Terms & Conditions:

  • Event performance will take place on agreed date at agreed venue.
  • Arrival time is at least 1.5-3 hours before start of event to prepare all equipment. This includes any equipment hired or provided by the venue.
  • Each acoustic set length may vary from 30 – 60 minutes and will be determined by the run sheet/schedule. DJ set is included for reception if applicable and can be anywhere between 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the schedule. A minimum 20 minute break is to be taken between all acoustic sets.
  • Master of Ceremonies (MC) duties is included within our service. This includes announcing formalities, ensuring that the wedding schedule is adhered to and pumping up the crowd to have as much fun as possible! Although, this is technically an optional service, we highly recommended that you allow us, as the professionals, to undertake this task. This is because it requires lots of practice, rehearsals and experience to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that the guests get the best experience from our entertainment services. The timing of announcements and/or introductions are also very important, as it must line up perfectly with the music we provide. If a family member or friend is offered this role, then they may feel obligated to say “yes” and be underprepared on the night. This can cause them to make errors and throw out our timing. Overall, it’s best to just let the family member or friend let loose, have a few drinks as early as they like, make an awesome speech and/or take the pressure off having to deal with something they may have never done before. However, if you’re still keen on picking someone to MC, then please call or email to discuss this and we’ll go through the full pro’s and con’s together. After this conversation, if you’d like to still go ahead with using the family member or friend to MC, then we’ll need to make sure they are as prepared as possible and/or organise the duties to be split between us (for e.g. we can do the introductions, shoe game, bouquet/garter toss etc. and they can do the welcome speech, formalities, introduce speeches etc.). Alternatively, another professional MC or translator may be chosen to help with proceedings.
  • Meals must be supplied by venue at a convenient time for the performers at the event. Extra fees may be applied or services forfeited if this is not provided.
  • All event details (including schedule) and song form must be submitted 30 days in advance from the event date. Any live songs requested that require us to learn/rehearse them specifically for the event must be included on this form. We allow a maximum of 2 free of charge. Any additional songs will be charged at $50 per song. DJ requests can also be included on this form. It is recommended to include roughly 5-15 of your favourite songs and/or to specify broader genres. This is also applicable for the must-not-play section on the form. We will then include your preferred songs into our set-list as much as possible. Song requests made at the time of event are subject to availability. Every event is unique and at the end of the day, the music choices must suit you and the crowd on the night.
  • Any expenses created from damages caused by guests or hosts to performer’s equipment during the event is to be paid in full by hosts.
  • Please note that we generally bring inflatable instruments to every event that is a wedding (gives the shy dancers something to let loose with!). The amount of props brought to the event (if any) will solely depend on their availability at time of event. These can be easily damaged and are the only thing not expected to be replaced by the hosts if accidentally damaged at the private event. In the rare event that you would rather not have these awesome inflatable props at your event (applicable to weddings only), then please send us an email requesting this.
  • Deposit is to be paid in full by the agreed date to the performer’s specified account. The deposit is non – refundable in order to guarantee the performer’s services/time and secure the chosen event date. The deposit also serves as a basic booking fee and covers any admin and/or correspondence in the lead up to the event.
  • The remaining full amount is required to be paid at least 30 days from the event date. The amount specified (minus any promotions) can be found on the invoice provided and is to be paid into the performer’s specified account on specified due date.
  • Any cancellations normally require at least 30 days’ notice from either party. A cancellation fee will apply to cancellations outside the 30 day period and is at the discretion of the performer.
  • In most cases the deposit is forfeited if the wedding is cancelled by the hosts more than 30 days out from the wedding date.
  • In some rare cases, if the event is cancelled by the hosts with less than 30 days’ notice, then the full amount paid is forfeited. If any remaining money is still owed for the services, then this amount must be paid to the performer within 7 days of the date (this due date is determined from when the hosts first notified the performer of the cancellation).
  • If a cancellation is made by the hosts at any time that requires the event to rescheduled, then a valid reason must be given. It will be determined by the performer if this reason given is valid or not. A rescheduling fee (minimum of $500) may be applied and is also at the discretion of the performer. The fee will depend on the terms and timing of the rescheduling. If a valid reason is not given, then all cancellation rules from points 11-13 still apply. Please note that we are very understanding and flexible in most cases.
  • Deposit or any amounts paid by the hosts may only be refunded if event is cancelled on performer’s behalf. Please note that this would only be in very exceptional circumstances and/or for compassionate or health reasons. We will always provide as much notice as possible depending on the situation. Please note that both of us sing, one of us plays guitar and we can both DJ/MC. With this combination it would be very unlikely to have to cancel an event in full (touch wood) due to health reasons. One of us can at least still play guitar and sing/MC OR one of us can at least play guitar and the other sing/MC OR at the very bare minimum we can still DJ/MC and/or get someone to help with MC duties, so one of us can just DJ.
  • Booking and deposit may be forfeited if remaining funds are not paid on time. If a valid reason is given, then we are happy to implement a unique instalment plan or other arrangements. All remaining funds must still be paid before the wedding date if these alternative arrangements are made.
  • Once full amount is paid, this document becomes a receipt for your records.
